The romantic Waltz is one of the most popular ballroom dances of all time. Considered by some as the “mother of present day dances”, the Waltz is the basis for many dances. Expect to learn the basic steps to this romantic dance, which is comprised of soft, round, flowing movements.
The Rumba

Rumba is rapidly becoming one of the most popular social dances, mostly due to the numerous Latin entertainers. Its slow, romantic rhythms have made Rumba the dance of romance. We will concentrate on several basic steps that will get us comfortable and moving around the floor with style.
The Tango
Saturday, December 19 • 3:00-4:00pm
One of the most fascinating of all dances, the Tango is a sensual ballroom dance that originated in South America in the early twentieth century. A couple dancing Tango expresses an element of romance in their synchronized movements.
