Program/Class Descriptions
Aqua Zumba
AQUA ZUMBA - Our most popular Latin dance class goes into the water.
Bootcamp
BOOT CAMP - An intense workout that will include kickboxing, strength and conditioning, speed work and plyometric drills. Improve your stamina, fitness level, balance and strength.
Cardio Kickboxing
CARDIO KICKBOXING - A cardio workout using a variety of kickboxing movements and equipment.
Core
CORE - A conditioning class to increase the strength and endurance of your core muscles (abdominals, lower back and hip complex).
G.R.I.T.
G.R.I.T. ($) - Do you have what it takes to work your way through 30, 60, and 90 second intervals of cardio, strength, plyometrics, and static holds? If yes, Group Radical Interval Training is your chance to prove it! This workout challenges you both physically and mentally and will improve your cardiovascular fitness, increase your strength, release those endorphins, and burn calories for hours after class is over.
H2O
H20 – A water class that provides a cardiovascular workout, complete with toning and stretching. This class is perfect for the mature adult, those individuals new to fitness and anyone recovering from an injury.
Hip Hop
HIP HOP- A fat burning class which incorporates the latest hip hop dance moves in a high energy class to achieve a full body aerobic workout.
Intensanity
INTENSANITY ($) This workout takes the term Bodyworks to a whole new level. With a high cardio pace, this “intense” class will push you to develop your muscular endurance for a total body workout in the “insane” zone. This isn’t just one type of workout, it’s ALL types combined. Always moving, your exercise mash-ups will mix step aerobics and boxing, weight lifting and yoga, resistance training and stability work. Forget the scale…in this class, success is measured in sweat.
Interval
INTERVAL - A class which involves alternating short bursts of intense activity with active recovery. This is an efficient training method that can help you increase your intensity without burning yourself out.
Pilates
PILATES - Learn to target your core muscles as you tone, sculpt, strengthen and improve flexibility in this mat based class.
Piloxing
PILOXING ($) - Check out the newest workout craze! Piloxing mixes Pilates with boxing to create a unique workout that torches fat and sculpts muscles. Experience the transformation as you gain a sleek, powerful body and confident self-image.
Senior Bodyworks
SENIOR BODYWORKS - A class focused on weight training for the mature adult.
Spin
SPIN - A group cycling class using specially designed bikes that is set to music for mood and motivation. Instructors utilize motivation, sports psychology and cycling techniques to create a journey for the mind as well the body. Pre-registration is required.
Step
STEP - A high energy, low impact, aerobic class using a low-lying bench. May include muscle conditioning as part of the format.
Tabata
TABATA ($) Are you ready for the best 45 minute workout of your week? Tabata interval training is the single most effective type of high intensity interval training to burn calories and develop muscle definition. Expect to push yourself hard with intense interval training using a mixture of cardio and weight training exercises. All the exercises are performed at your own current level, while pushing you to the next level of intensity!
Total Bodyworks
TOTAL BODYWORKS - A total body conditioning class using a variety of training tools and equipment such as free weights, resistance bands and body bars.
Turbokick
TURBOKICK - A high energy, choreographed kickboxing class designed to keep you moving and excited to come back each week.
Yoga
YOGA - A perfect complement to your existing fitness program or a great workout all on its own. This ancient practice creates a strong and flexible body through a series of poses that enhance focus and calm the mind.
Zumba
ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International music dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting fitness class.
