My fitness journey began with my personal goals of putting on muscle mass, but quickly changed directions when I realized how important injury prevention and injury rehabilitation is. I am currently attending school to become a Physical Therapist, and would consider rehab my area of expertise.
My main interests include exercise (any way possible), cooking, and reading. I love finding new exercises and using myself as a guinea pig to see just how effective and safe they are! When I'm not in the gym, I am usually shopping for food, cooking food, studying, or watching football.
It is vital to remember that fitness is multi-dimensional, and that proper diet and mental health should always be considered with a fitness program. I believe that injury prevention is also very important and should be taken into account no matter how fit you think you are! It's a bummer to spend all the hard work in the gym only to get injured and have to sit out for months at a time.
