INTERESTS/HOBBIES:
I am an enthusiastic reader who enjoys going to a good play and having dinner with a friend. I like all kinds of music and enjoy good conversation wherever I may find it. Hiking, swimming, and camping are my favorite ways to enjoy the outdoors. I enjoy all these things even more in the company of my three grown children.

PHILOSOPHY:
“I feel good after a workout—but there's always that neck ache.” “Yeah, the knee brace helps—sort of.”

“I do stretch, but it's not enough. Chiropractic, physical therapy, Theragun - some help, yes, but the problem keeps coming back. I feel like something's missing.”
What may be missing is Precision Neuromuscular Therapy. This is the therapy I practice, and client complaints like these are the reason I do.

How do I practice?  First, I listen carefully. I find out what hurts, what helps, what the client has tried already. I do some assessments of structure and range of motion.  Then I explore which specific restrictions in muscles and fascia might be causing the problem. Sometimes trigger points and fascial adhesions contribute to headaches, numbness or pain across the body. Sometimes old sports injuries, unconscious posture or anxiety holding patterns exacerbate the problem. I find and release these soft tissue restrictions through the precise pressure of manual therapy. Often I integrate this treatment with massage to add a soothing dimension. My clients typically come several times for treatment. They make faster progress when I can collaborate with their trainer or physical therapist. This tag-team approach allows both of us to benefit from each other's observations and specific recommendations.

I have developed a talent for thinking outside the box to create home treatments that work well with client lifestyles and budgets.

Now, can I instead give a soothing and luxurious hot stone massage when stress relief is the order of the day? Of course I can!
