SPECIALTIES:
I help people develop strength and overall fitness through functional strength training with kettlebells, dumbbells, and free weights. I specialize in working with older people, people who are just starting their fitness journey, and people who want to get stronger for endurance sports.

INTERESTS/HOBBIES:
I am a bicycle racer, runner, cross-country skier, snowshoer, weight lifter. I've won a state championship in cyclocross, and I've also managed to simply finish a lot of events when I wanted to quit.

PHILOSOPHY:
I've been a teacher most of my life, coaching others to understand the world around them. Now, I help people understand that they have so much strength inside them.  I build people's self-confidence through strength training, conditioning, and nutrition so that any person can unpack the person they want to become.

The fitness journey is not a short one, nor is it taken lightly.  I see my job as a coach and a cheerleader to help people with their challenges and celebrate their success.
