Believe it or not... I used to HATE physical activity and dreaded gym class in high school. Soon after graduating, I saw that the inactivity was catching up with me. I knew I had to make a change. One day when I was wallowing in self-pity, I decided enough was enough and walked into a gym for the first time. I was nervous and had absolutely no idea what I was doing. It felt like all eyes were on me. Little by little, day by day, I learned how to work the machines by observing others and watching YouTube videos. Why am I telling you this? Because I know how it feels to be the "new" member, I know how it is to feel as though everyone is watching you. This is what I'm here for! My passion is to help new gym members feel confident not only with the equipment/exercises but in their own bodies! I want to teach my clients to truly love themselves and stay committed to physical activity for life! I hope my dedication to health and fitness will not only motivate you but will inspire you to make the lifelong change.

First and foremost, working out is my absolute favorite hobby! (I'm sure you already guessed that!) however, when I am away from the WAC, I love to be outdoors and go on hikes with my two golden retrievers, Tucker and Jordy! I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I would LOVE  to be able to travel the world one day!

"Never forget why you started".  People tend to have big goals, but as soon as it gets uncomfortable, they quit. They forget their "why".  Why did you start your journey? Was it to feel better, be healthy, lose weight, for aesthetics?  Never forget the reason you started. Goals require time, dedication, sacrifice, perseverance, and even failure. In time, you will realize that it was worth it.
