CAREER / ATHLETIC ACHIEVEMENTS:
Growing up, sports was a major part of my life from soccer to cross country to ski team. I have completed 3 sprint triathlons, a tough mudder, and half marathon. I have been a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor since 2011, working in a corporate fitness setting for a large Milwaukee company. Feeling called to do more, I made the decision to pursue a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy where I hoped to better bridge the gap between rehabilitation and returning to an active lifestyle. My passion for health and fitness carries over into my current work as an industrial therapist, where I train employees on optimal body mechanics, provide education in workplace ergonomics and address acute injuries on-site.
Strength training, weight lifting, mobility, corrective exercise/rehabilitation, core/balance and circuit training
Water skiing, snow skiing, biking, running, going on walks and to the park with my daughter, reading, riding dirt bikes/ATVs
Train smarter, not harder. You are stronger than you think, both mentally and physically - and I'm here to offer that extra push and the direction you need to achieve your personal goals safely. I love an intense sweaty workout but I also am passionate about empowering my clients by educating them in proper lifting techniques, form and mobility for long-term success in and out of the gym!
