At UW Stout I put together adaptive fitness plans. I was able to work with the visually impaired and develop challenging workout programs for those in wheelchairs. I went on to work with a transitional program for those in wheelchairs, leaving rehabilitation, transferring to daily activities, including fitness. Always looking for ABILITIES! I went to work with a transitional wheelchair program. This was set up for those leaving rehab who wanted to include fitness in their daily activities.

I ran competitively in college. I have completed a marathon and many half-marathons. As time has gone on, I have transitioned to more biking less running. Biking being my new passion. I enjoy exploring areas I travel on a bike, you see things in a completely different way. I belong to a women's biking group called Tour de Friends, which includes many of the marvelous women from the WAC! I also enjoy cross country skiing and yoga.

I have been a personal trainer and AFAA group exercise instructor for years and have seen many fads come and go. I currently am teaching cycling classes and truly enjoy the one-on-one of personal training.

I have worked with clients of all ages and abilities.

I love to be outside whether it is reading, gardening, walking, running, biking, skiing, hiking, drinking my morning coffee...I enjoy camping with my family and the break from distractions that brings. I love traveling any chance I get. The thing I enjoy the most is making memories with my family doing these things.

Fitness is more than any one goal. As a personal trainer it is my goal to find an enjoyable way for you to make it become a lifestyle.
