I picked up my first tennis racquet when I was in 8th grade and instantly fell in love with tennis. I attended Sun Prairie High School and lettered in varsity tennis all four years. In 2012, I was a State qualifier with my doubles partner at number 1 doubles. I participated in a Junior USTA League one summer during high school, and taught youth tennis lessons through the Sun Prairie Recreation Department. I was a member of Cherokee Country Club where I played in USTA Junior Tournaments for three years. I won multiple 1st or 2nd place trophies at both singles and doubles. In 2015-2016, I assisted the UW-Baraboo tennis coach with the men’s and women’s tennis team. After a nearly four year break from playing tennis to find my path in life, I joined Lake Country Racquet Club (Wisconsin Athletic Club) in January 2019 and became a 4.0 player to play league tennis. In summer 2019, our mixed double team won the State 8.0 Tennis Tournament and we will move on to Sectionals in October.

I enjoy working with children of any age. In the summer of 2015 I was a summer camp counselor at a Lutheran camp, guiding children in a variety of skills. I became a lifeguard certified while at the camp. I adapt well to the needs of children of differing abilities including children with special needs.

I spend a lot of time with our rescued Shiba Inu. I have a great interest in art, particularly ceramics, and have created a lot of pottery for around our apartment and my parents’ house. I am also interested in cars and have a collection of various car models. The Audi is my favorite car. Someday I’ll be able to afford one.

If I can help someone be successful and put a smile on their face, I feel successful.
I believe that there is always a positive side to everything. I like to approach difficult situations with people in a calm and stress-free manner which will support my teaching skills.
