Racquet for Autism - West Allis

Event Date: Saturday, September 26, 2015
Event Category / Group: West Allis Calendar / West Allis

Calling our racquetball family! We will be hosting a Racquet for Autism tournament to benefit Autism Speaks, a national charitable foundation dedicated to funding research and treatment programs to help children with Autism. As some of you may know, Jack Madlung, nephew and grandson of Jimmy and Jim Crawford, respectively, was diagnosed with Autism in the winter of 2008. The only treatment is one-on-one speech therapy to try to teach children with Autism communication and social skills. Since this therapy is not covered by most health care plans, it falls on the parents and family of kids with Autism to pay for the therapy. Please help us support these families. Join us for the second annual Racquet for Autism racquetball tournament!
