Interest/Hobbies

My favorite hobby has to be golfing. I picked this sport up when I was a senior in high school because my brothers bought me a beginner set for graduation. Now, I can’t get enough of it and spend most of my free time either at the range or on the course, weather permitting of course.

Along with golf, I also enjoy playing basketball. As far back as I could remember I was either on my little hoop inside, or in the driveway with my older brothers shooting hoops or playing games. I played in competitive leagues since I was in 4th grade all the way till senior year of high school where my basketball career ended.

A recent niche hobby of mine is bowling. Ever since my family moved to our new house around COVID time, we needed to find something to do in the area and we stumbled upon the bowling alley and joined a league. 6 years later, we are still in the same league and now doing tournaments once a month.

Finally, my biggest interest would have to be traveling more. I have never left the country and went on my first plane in 2023 and would like to venture off to new areas to see what is out there in the world.

Philosophy

Health and fitness is a gift for you later self. As we age we tend to slow down, but if you do what is best for you and start an active lifestyle by resistance training, joining that group fitness class, or whatever it is, you will thank yourself later for it.
