Youth Lessons & Certification
Junior Tennis
Nurture a love for tennis in your child with our junior tennis programs, specially designed to introduce young players to the game in a fun and supportive environment while building essential skills.
Youth Swim Lessons
Learn to swim at the WAC. We provide members and children with the safe, fun, and supportive means of learning to swim. From parent + toddler classes to advanced swim training, there’s a class for your age or ability. If you or your child needs more one-on-one training, we offer private swim lessons to meet your skill and schedule needs.
Under 16 Youth Certification
All youth members between the ages of 12-15 years old wishing to be active on the fitness floor are required to participate in this standardized youth certification course.
The class will be scheduled in one 60-minute session. We will cover fitness basics, including cardiovascular exercise, resistance training, stretching, general fitness floor guidelines, and etiquette. Students will receive a certification packet and are required to pass a written (objective) and field (subjective) exam to complete the class and receive access to the fitness floor.
After completing the certification, youth members will receive a junior privileges sticker to place on their membership card.
GROUP FITNESS CLASS FOR KIDS
Move It!
This class is designed to introduce the fitness fun to children. Each week, we will showcase a new group fitness format, games or sports-related exercises. Taught by experienced youth Instructors, your child can expect to learn new exercises while working up a sweat! Check for age groups and times in the app. Parent does not need to be present in class, but should be in the club.
