Philosophy

Exercise is medicine. While that may be hard to believe for those who are new to the gym, or those who are recovering from an injury, I am a firm believer that exercise can improve most individual’s lives. Exercise not only improves our health and wellness, but it can improve other areas of our lives as well, including our emotional, intellectual, and social well-being.

As a trainer, I encourage my clients to explore their true potential in a safe and welcoming environment. Walking into a fitness facility is our time to shut off the noise from the outside world and focus on becoming the best version of ourselves. While there are so many barriers to physical activity, I work to overcome those challenges to help my clients reach their health and fitness goals.

“No citizen has a right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training…what a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without ever seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.” – from Xenophon’s Memorabilia, in conversations with Socrates

“Aut Viam Inveniam Aut Faciam (I shall either find a way, or make one)” – Hannibal of Carthage, general during the Second Punic War
