Cooper Tracks

The WAC is pleased to announce the addition of Cooper® Tracks cardiovascular and diabetic programs for our members and the community.

Cooper Tracks is a series of education and exercise programs for those living with (or at risk of) cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals and certified fitness experts, Cooper Tracks comprehensive health education programs give participants the opportunity to learn how lifestyle modifications can positively affect their well-being and specific health conditions.

Each eight-week track is facilitated by a certified personal trainer and offered in a small group setting. Our team will tailor the program to each individual, providing fitness tips, modifications for daily activity and health education. Cooper Tracks provides participants guidance and support to help them begin exercising, increase confidence and develop habits to live healthier and best manage their chronic conditions.

“Research shows an integrated approach of exercise, nutrition, group support and stress management, yields long-lasting lifestyle change and can decrease the impact of chronic disease.” - Sheryl Brown, PT, MSPT, Cooper Wellness Strategies Program Director
