If you don't currently train at the WAC, please reach out to the Fitness Manager at your favorite location. Based on your goals and preferences, they will pair you with a WAC Personal Trainer. Your Trainer will follow up prior to your initial virtual training session to work with you to design an at-home workout plan suited to the equipment and space in your home. The appointment will take place through our new WAC Training app.

Can I use my current Personal Training Sessions to train virtually?
Yes! Your existing sessions or any new package can be applied for both in-club and virtual sessions.

How much does a Virtual Live Training session cost?
The cost of a session varies by Trainer level and the length of your session. Contact your Trainer for more details.

Is the price of Virtual Live Training the same as In-Person Training?
Yes. You can purchase Personal Training sessions and you have the flexibility of using these sessions either in the club or virtually with one of our designed VLT trainers. Our certified Personal Trainers who offer VLT are experienced and highly skilled to be able to deliver an extremely effective workout regardless of your location or equipment available to you. Great news - they will be with you for the entire duration of your session, just as they are in the club!

How long is a Virtual Live Training session?
Sessions can be either 60 minutes, 45 minutes or 30 minutes long.

What if I need to cancel a session?
If you need to cancel your upcoming session, please contact your Trainer at least 24 hours in advance to avoid losing your session.

What happens after I schedule my first Virtual Live Training session?
Prior to your initial VLT session, your Trainer will reach out to discuss your goals and preferences as well as your current home setup, including what equipment and space you have access to. Your Trainer will design workouts specifically for you and your abilities, so let them know about any limitations, health conditions or injuries you may have so they can modify your program accordingly.

What do I need for my Virtual Live Training session?
Please make sure you have a computer, tablet or phone with camera capabilities. (Laptops and tablets are preferred.) Prior to your session, please make sure your wi-fi is working to ensure optimal connectivity throughout your session. Depending on your setup, you can use the speaker on your device or Bluetooth headphones to communicate with your Trainer.

Do I need home gym equipment?
No. All VLT sessions can be performed using only bodyweight, so no equipment is needed. If you do have some equipment, your Trainer can help you incorporate it into your program.

Can my Trainer see and hear me?
Yes. Your Trainer can see you and speak to you through your camera and microphone on your device. Please make sure to turn on the audio and video settings for your device prior to your session.

What is the difference between Virtual Live Training and PIVOT?
Virtual Live Training (VLT) is a scheduled live video session with your Personal Trainer. They will take you through your workout and provide feedback and encouragement along the way. PIVOT is a personalized online fitness subscription. A WAC Trainer will design a fitness plan for you that you can do anytime and anywhere you like. You can even combine the two with PIVOT Duo to get the most out of online training at the WAC. To find out more, visit our PIVOT page.
