Gentle Somatic Yoga (GSY) is a unique brain-to-muscle re-education yoga practice that combines traditional yoga postures with Hanna Somatic Education to create a safe, gentle and common-sense approach. This class incorporates slow, mindful movements and meditation that raise bodily awareness to help heal chronic pain, dramatically improve range-of-motion and regain strength and control. As this course progresses, you will experience more self-sensing, self-correcting movements that can result in self-empowerment, strength and balance in your daily activities.
